Client database
A client database that belongs to you, and builds loyalty
Every client is unique, and you can’t remember everything. Blissa keeps each client’s contact details, treatments, preferences and purchase history for you, in the same place as your calendar and your POS. The database fills itself as bookings and payments come in.
Everything you need to know about a client, at a glance
One record per client, and it’s all there: her contact details, the services she’s had, what she bought, her preferences, her contraindications. When she walks in, you know who she is without searching, and without relying on the memory of whoever saw her last time.
- The full history, visit after visit. The color applied in March, the length she asked for in June, the product she bought in September.
- Preferences noted once and for all. Prefers mornings, sensitive skin, doesn’t like to chat during a treatment: the things that make the difference at the front desk.
- Average spend and frequency. You see who comes back every five weeks and who has drifted away without a word.
A database that fills itself without you
That’s what sets it apart from a notebook or a spreadsheet: you don’t feed the database, it feeds on what you already do. Every online booking creates or completes a record, every checkout adds the service and the amount. You only enter by hand what no software can guess.
Targeted SMS messages, to stay in touch between visits
From the Pro plan, you send the right message to the right client: win-backs for regulars who haven’t been back, birthdays, seasonal offers. You segment from the database and you send from the same interface as your calendar, without exporting anything to an email marketing tool. It’s also what fills the quiet slots in the middle of the week.
Consent, collected and dated at the source
The law requires you to be able to prove a client’s consent before any marketing SMS or email. Blissa collects it when the record is created, dates it and keeps its origin: online booking, record created at the salon, import of your old database. Records remain editable and deletable on request, and the full export is available at any time.
At heart, this database is yours and not a marketplace’s: it’s a subject in its own right, and we explain it in detail in the article “Who owns your client records?”.
What it means in practice
- You recognize a client without making her repeat herself. Which, in a salon, matters more than any feature.
- You see who is drifting away before you’ve lost her. A regular who skips two appointments can be won back; six months later, she can’t.
- You leave with your database. Full import and export, both ways, without having to ask permission.
Frequently asked questions
Who owns the client database?
You do, entirely. Your client database is one of your most valuable assets: you keep it, you use it, and you can export all of it at any time, including the day you leave.
Does the database fill itself?
Largely. Every online booking creates or completes the client’s record, and every checkout adds the service and the amount. You only enter by hand what the software can’t guess: a preference, a contraindication, a note.
Can I send SMS messages to my clients?
Yes, from the Pro plan, with 300 SMS included. You target a segment (clients who haven’t been back in three months, those whose birthday is this month) and you send from the same interface as your calendar.
Is my client database GDPR-compliant?
The database belongs to you and you are responsible for it under the GDPR. Blissa gives you the means: consent collected and dated at the source, records that can be edited and deleted at a client’s request, a full export of your data. The CNIL, the French data protection authority, recommends collecting only useful information, informing your clients and getting their consent before any marketing SMS or email.
What our clients say
I have used it for my nail salon for years, and I recommend it 100%. Lots of options, for example limiting booking to clients registered in the client database: great when you want to manage your clientele. One bug in four years, I recommend it with my eyes closed.
The software is very complete, easy to use, and everything works very well. The onboarding help is excellent, answers to questions come very quickly, and everything is clear.
A team that really listens and responds very fast, and a remarkable tool: everything is in it, and it is very easy to use. I would not change it for anything.
