FAQ: your questions about your salon’s website and software
The short answers first: creating your website is free and you see it before you decide; Blissa takes no commission on your appointments; you can keep your current booking marketplace during the switch; your data stays yours.
Getting started and technical questions
I’m not comfortable with technology at all. Is this for me?
It’s made for you. You type your salon’s name, the AI takes what Google and your social media already know about you (address, hours, services, photos, reviews) and the rest builds itself. No blank page to fill in, no website to code, no manual to read.
Do I have to pay a webmaster or handle updates?
No. There’s no webmaster to pay, no plugin to install, no technical update to deal with on a Sunday evening. When you want to change a photo, your hours or a service, you tell the AI, like a message, and it does it.
And if I get stuck, who helps me?
The AI guides you step by step while you create your website, in plain language, with no jargon. And behind it, there’s a real team in Rennes, France, easy to reach, that knows salon life day to day.
Does my website work on phones too?
Yes, and that’s where it matters most: most of your clients look for a salon from their phone. Your website is designed mobile first, fast to load, and the booking button sits right under the thumb. You have nothing to set up for that.
Do I need to install software on my computer?
No, everything happens online, from any connected device. You open your dashboard from the salon computer, your phone or your tablet, and you find your calendar, your POS and your client records in one place.
Switching and data
I already use a booking marketplace. Do I have to change everything?
No, nothing forces you to cut everything off at once. Many keep their marketplace while they find their feet, then gradually move their bookings to their own website. The Book button stays on your Google Business Profile, thanks to the Reserve with Google partnership, but the appointments come to you, with no commission.
How do I switch from my current software?
Your business stays open during the switch: nothing stops. Your website is built first from your public information (Google, social media), without you having to re-enter anything. For your calendar and client records, the team helps you with the transfer, at your own pace.
If I leave a booking marketplace, do I keep my reviews and my clients?
Your clients are yours: they belong to you, not to the marketplace. As for reviews, the ones that matter most for your visibility are your Google reviews, and those stay attached to your Google Business Profile, so they follow you.
How long does the full switch take?
The website itself is created in a few minutes. Switching your day-to-day (calendar, records, your team’s habits) happens at your own pace, never by force. You switch when you feel comfortable, not on a Monday morning under pressure.
And if I want to leave one day, do I get everything back?
Yes. Your client records, your statistics, your database: they’re yours, and you leave with them. Your domain name belongs to you. Leaving is as simple as joining.
POS and compliance
Is your POS compliant (NF525)?
Yes. The POS is NF525-certified (NF525 is the French certification for POS software), as French law requires for taking payments. It comes with the Pro plan, at €39.90 excl. VAT per month: you run your salon by the rules without buying separate POS software or plugging in an extra device.
What does NF525 actually change for me?
It’s the certification that proves, in case of an audit, that your POS software is tamper-proof, secure and keeps all your transactions. In short: you take payments with peace of mind, and you have the proof if the tax authorities ask for it.
Are my data and my clients’ data safe?
Yes. Hosting and data processing comply with the GDPR, and your client records are only used for you. We don’t sell your database, we don’t share it with anyone, and we don’t use it to push a competitor in your place. The legal notice and the privacy policy detail who hosts what.
Pricing and commitment
Is it free?
Creating your website is: you type your salon’s name, you see your website, and you decide. Your subscription only starts when you publish on your own domain name.
Is the website really included, or is it an add-on?
The website is included in every plan, without exception, from the Site plan. It’s never an option to tick, nor a tier reserved for the most expensive plans: it’s where Blissa starts.
Do you take a commission on my bookings?
No, 0% commission, on every plan. Every appointment booked on your website is yours, in full. We earn our living from the subscription, never from your salon’s direct channel.
How much does it cost?
Three plans, excluding VAT, with no commitment. Site, at €24.90 per month: your website generated and optimized for search, online booking, your own domain name and updates by AI. Pro, at €39.90, adds the NF525-certified POS, SMS reminders (300 included), loyalty, packages, stock and multiple calendars. Premium, at €59.90, adds the AI copilot, client review collection and online sales.
Is there a commitment or a minimum term?
No, there’s no commitment. You stop whenever you want and you leave with your data. We’d rather you stay because it works, not because you have no choice.
Visibility and booking
How fast is my website online?
The first preview builds in a few minutes, right before your eyes. You adjust whatever you want, then you publish: the website is online the same day. Search visibility then takes a few days to appear on Google and a few weeks to rank for searches in your neighborhood.
How do my clients find me, without a booking marketplace?
Most of your clients look for you on Google first. Your website is structured for local SEO: you show up when someone searches for a salon in your neighborhood. And since Blissa is a Reserve with Google partner, the client who discovers you on Maps books directly with you.
What is direct booking?
It’s a booking made on your website or your Google Business Profile, under your name, without a middleman stepping in to claim the relationship. The client finds you, books with you, and it’s you she remembers, not the marketplace she would have gone through.
On a closing day or when the salon is fully booked, what shows up?
On your website, there’s only you: fully booked means “next available slot”, closed means “when we reopen”. The client waits or picks another time with you. On a booking marketplace, she has the nearby salons right in front of her, one click away.
